More Than Jewellery
Heartstones® creates handcrafted memorial and heirloom jewellery using ashes, hair, fur, breastmilk, flowers, fabric, sand and other deeply personal elements.
Every piece is individually handcrafted in my South Wales workshop using precious metals, carefully selected materials and professional jewellery-making techniques developed through years of experience.
No two stories are the same.
No two Heartstones® are either.
Why Heartstones Exists
Heartstones® began with one little girl.
Emily.
My daughter was born sleeping in 2016.
Like so many bereaved parents, I searched for something tangible. Something that could keep her close in a way words never could.
That search slowly became a passion.
Then it became a profession.
For years, I had the privilege of creating memorial jewellery for families across the world. During that time, I've handcrafted more than 10,000 memorial pieces, each carrying its own unique story of love, remembrance and connection.
Wanting to better support the people who placed their trust in me, I also completed additional studies in grief, bereavement and pet bereavement counselling. While I don't practise as a counsellor, these studies have given me a deeper understanding of the many different ways people experience loss, allowing me to approach every commission with even greater compassion, patience and care.
Over time, I realised I wanted to work differently.
Not bigger.
Better.
Heartstones® was created so I could slow everything down.
Fewer commissions.
More time.
More intention.
More care.
Because every person who places their trust in me deserves exactly that.
Emily will always remain the heart behind Heartstones®.
Not because I want sympathy, but because she is the reason this work exists.
She taught me that love doesn't end when someone is gone. Sometimes it simply needs somewhere to go.

Creating memorial jewellery is unlike creating any other piece of jewellery.
Every personal element entrusted to me is irreplaceable.
That responsibility shapes every decision I make.
Only precious metals, carefully selected materials and proven jewellery-making techniques are used to create each Heartstone®. Every process has been refined through years of experience to provide strength, clarity and longevity, allowing your jewellery to be worn and enjoyed for generations.
Your personal elements are never mixed with another family's.
Every commission is created individually.
Every story is treated with the same care and respect I would hope someone would show my own.
All eligible Heartstones® jewellery is hallmarked in accordance with UK regulations, providing reassurance of its precious metal content, authenticity and craftsmanship.
A Personal Experience
I know how overwhelming commissioning memorial jewellery can feel.
For some families, posting ashes is the hardest part.
Others simply want someone to talk things through with before making a decision.
That's why Heartstones® is intentionally personal.
If you're local to South Wales or Bristol, I'm happy to personally collect and return your precious personal elements, allowing them to remain with you until they're placed directly into my care.
For families further afield, personal collection can often be arranged too. I'm always happy to travel where possible, with a mutually convenient date arranged and travel costs agreed in advance.
If posting feels like the right option for you, secure collection kits are available with everything you need, along with clear guidance throughout the process.
There is never any pressure.
No expectation.
